Job summary

Boston Dynamics is seeking a highly organized Technical Trainer to design, deliver, and manage training and documentation for the Atlas Data Operations (ADOPS) team and external product operators. You will create content that is accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences and lead instructor-led sessions while maintaining onboarding processes.

You will work with Engineering, CL&D, and Data Ops to align on documentation, project status, and operational needs, while staying current on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience in instructional systems, curriculum management, or technical training leadership.
• Proven experience as a technical trainer, documentation specialist, or teacher, with ability to communicate complex technical subject matter to diverse audiences.
• Experience prompting generative AI to create and optimize polished documents from source content.
• Demonstrated ability to curate and develop curriculum for Instructor-Led Training programs.
• Self-directed with proven experience managing small projects or operations in a fast-paced R&D environment.
• Strong computer proficiency; familiarity with robotics concepts, VR systems, or ML data pipelines is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and continuously improve training content and onboarding processes.
• Lead and administer instructor-led training for ADOPS Pilot Operators and partner teams.
• Deliver training on BD product-lines, APIs, and solution infrastructures.
• Coach and assess pilots, provide feedback to improve techniques and knowledge retention.
• Document change control and develop SOPs and hands-on exercises.
