Job summary

Boston Dynamics seeks an RMAC Applications Lead to direct the engineering team responsible for transitioning Atlas into production automotive environments. You will oversee data collection curricula, playbook development, and site integration across multiple deployment sites.

The role demands 5–7+ years in robotics with at least 2 years in leadership, strong Linux/RT coding skills, and experience with JIRA/Tableau for operations and data monitoring. Travel and multi-shift support are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in robotics, CS, electrical engineering, or related field.
• 5–7+ years in robotics ops, systems eng, or field applications; 2+ in lead/supervisory role.
• Strong Linux/RT code experience; proficient in Python or C++ for automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the RMAC Applications/Integration Engineers to align with BD product strategy.
• Serve as technical bridge between Atlas Engineering/Product and local Operations/Hardware SMEs.
• Develop data collection playbooks and QA for 10,000-hour data collection goal.
• Coordinate with stakeholders on data/workflow integration for Atlas products.
• Oversee fleet health, uptime, and hardware utilization across RMAC.
