Job summary

micro1 is seeking a Strategic Project Lead (Robotics) to own robotics data pipelines end-to-end, from capture to delivery, ensuring quality and efficiency. You will work across engineering, operations, and finance to drive execution on complex projects.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with sensor systems, multi-camera setups, and large-scale data processing, with strong communication across technical and non-technical teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with robotics and high-throughput data pipelines.
• Hands-on with sensors, FPS constraints and multi-camera setups.
• Ability to define schemas, protocols and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Own robotics data pipelines end-to-end with accountability for quality and delivery.
• Design and optimize large-scale data collection and processing pipelines.
• Scale operations by balancing cost, quality and throughput.
• Deploy and manage hardware systems (multi-camera rigs, RGB/stereo/IMU sensors).
• Lead data transformation pipelines aligned with client schemas and formats.
• Identify bottlenecks and build automation for validation, QA, and reporting.
• Define and enforce capture protocols, workflows, and operational standards.
• Translate client requirements into executable systems and processes.
• Work closely with engineering, operations and finance to drive execution.
