Job summary

Doordashusa is looking for an experienced engineer to focus on shipping embedded control algorithms for robotic systems. You will test performance rigorously and enhance development processes while collaborating closely with the Technical Lead of the Autonomy team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in building robots, autonomous vehicles or complex mechatronics systems.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and understanding of robotics fundamentals.
• Experience developing and testing brushless motor controls.

Responsibilities

• Ship embedded control algorithms for various ECUs.
• Test robot performance at various levels (simulation, component testing, etc.).
• Design features/systems to meet internal customer needs.
