Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Project Manager to support a multi-disciplinary research portfolio focused on advanced robotics and computer vision. You will partner with Project Leaders to define lifecycles, manage milestones, procurement, and budgets, and ensure compliant, deployable results.

You will maintain detailed plans, dashboards, and stakeholder communications, coordinating cross-functional teams and internal processes to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Operations, Project Management or similar).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project management within a research, engineering, or technical development environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the US; must be willing to work on-site in Niskayuna, NY.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 5–10 research projects with detailed plans and milestones.
• Partner with Project Leaders to handle procurement, staffing logistics, and budget health.
• Identify risks, budget overruns, or scheduling bottlenecks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Serve as a primary or secondary contact for stakeholders and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Assist in preparing project reporting and performance summaries for internal and external audiences.
