Job summary

Symbotic is seeking a diligent Cell Operator to manage and maintain automated adapters interfacing with the Symbotic system. You will monitor throughput, prepare pallets, and troubleshoot issues to keep lines running and maximize performance.

Responsibilities include pre-production checks, handling HMI interfaces, and performing routine maintenance while escalating any production-impacting events to leadership.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in electronics, automation, manufacturing.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with mechanical automation systems.
• Ability to operate safely and work independently.
• Capable of multi-tasking in a high-throughput environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-production checks on automated adapters to ensure readiness.
• Process and monitor the flow of the automated storage and retrieval system via adapters.
• Prepare pallets for induction into the storage system.
• Assess cause of system stoppage and restore service.
• Escalate issues to leadership immediately.
• Maintain system uptime through upkeep and bot health actions.
• Perform periodic system inspections including cleaning and lubrication.
• Operate rover bot upkeep and components.
• Support automated robotic vehicle recovery in Matrix select system.
