Job summary

Symbotic in Kentucky is seeking a Cell Operator to oversee automated adapters and maintain readiness of the robotic material handling system. You will perform pre-production checks, monitor throughput, prepare pallets, and respond to stoppages using HMI, while following safety procedures.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent experience and at least 1 year in mechanical automation, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work 12-hour onsite shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience with mechanical automation systems.
• Ability to perform system inspections including cleaning, lubrication, tolerance checks, and electrical measurements.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-production checks to ensure equipment is ready to run.
• Monitor material flow through adapters to maximize throughput.
• Prepare pallets for induction into the storage and retrieval system.
• Diagnose and address system stoppages using HMI and manual interventions.
• Escalate issues impacting production to leadership.
