Job summary

Queue Inc. in California is seeking an experienced Technician Lead to anchor our build floor, guiding a small team through assembly, integration, and testing of complex robotic systems for automated pharmacy equipment.

You will collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to move prototypes to pilot production, define build standards, and document processes that scale with demand while maintaining quality and safety across the line.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience assembling and testing mechanical/electromechanical systems.
• Experience leading a small team of technicians—assigning work, training, and owning build quality and schedule.
• Demonstrated competency in precision mechanical and electromechanical assembly, including tight-tolerance mechanisms and wire harnessing.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical domains; comfortable with multimeters, torque tools, and test equipment.
• Experience executing structured test plans and documenting results.
• Proven ability to write and maintain clear build documentation — work instructions, SOPs, and test procedures.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T callouts, schematics, and 3D CAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and mentor a team of technicians on assembly and test tasks.
• Assemble precision mechanical and electromechanical subassemblies to pharmaceutical-grade quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical build issues with engineers.
• Create and maintain build instructions, SOPs, and travelers.
• Support transition from prototype builds to pilot production, including DFx feedback to engineering.
