Job summary

ASR INTERNATIONAL in Selfridge, MI seeks an experienced Technical Instructor/Course Developer to build and deliver advanced training for DoD robotics and autonomous systems. You will craft curricula across electronics, robotics, and maintenance, and coordinate with engineering, logistics, and government staff to ensure current content.

The role requires a strong background in technical training, military leadership experience, and the ability to lead distributed teams while developing effective

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field; substitution of senior military leadership for a degree may be considered.
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in electronics maintenance, technical systems support, curriculum development, and technical instruction.
• 2–3 years in a team lead or training management role is preferred.
• Experience developing and delivering technical curriculum and hands-on training.

Responsibilities

• Develop, revise, maintain, and deliver technical training curriculum for robotic, autonomous, unmanned, electronics, maintenance, and related systems.
• Organize complex subjects into structured units and prepare lesson plans, guides, student materials, and assessments.
• Deliver instructor-led, computer-based, simulator-based, and hands-on training for operators and maintainers.
• Maintain training documentation, attendance records, course completion, and schedules.
• Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, logistics, and Government personnel to reflect current configurations and needs.
