Job summary

ASR International seeks an experienced Field Technical Representative to lead field support operations for a DoD robotics and autonomous systems program. The role involves supervising a dispersed field team, overseeing training support, and coordinating with engineering and logistics to ensure readiness and mission success.

The position requires strong leadership, advanced technical expertise in electronics, and the ability to generate reports on equipment readiness and training completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; senior military leadership may substitute.
• 8–10 years in electronics maintenance with 2–3 years in team lead or management.
• Experience supervising geographically dispersed teams and coordinating travel.
• Ability to review technical documentation and training support packages.
• Strong strategic communication and liaison skills.
• Active Secret clearance required; background check.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the Field Service Representative team across mission sites.
• Review and approve Training Support Packages for accuracy and effectiveness.
• Act as primary liaison for unit leadership and program managers on readiness and training status.
• Provide high-level technical guidance and escalate complex issues in the field.
• Coordinate with engineering and logistics to ensure teams have tools and parts.
