Job summary

ASR International seeks an experienced Technical Instructor/Course Developer to support a DoD robotics program in Selfridge, MI. You will develop, revise, maintain, and deliver technical curriculum for electronics, robotics, autonomous systems, and related maintenance disciplines.

This role requires organizing complex subjects into structured units, preparing lesson plans, guides, and training materials, and delivering multi‑modal instruction to operators, maintainers, and government personnel.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics Technology, Management, Education, Instructional Design, Technical Training, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
Significant senior-level military leadership and technical training experience may substitute for a degree.
Minimum of eight to ten years in electronics maintenance, technical systems support, curriculum development, and technical instruction.

Responsibilities

Develop, revise, maintain, and deliver technical training curriculum for robotic, autonomous, unmanned, electronics, maintenance, and related systems.
Organize complex subjects into structured units and prepare lesson plans, instructor guides, student guides, and training materials.
Deliver instructor‑led, simulator, classroom, hands‑on, and field instruction for operators and maintainers.
Maintain training documentation, attendance and completion records, and training schedules.
Coordinate with engineering, logistics, and government personnel to reflect current configurations and mission needs.
Review manuals and field feedback to update training content and ensure accuracy and compliance.
