Job summary
Torrey Holistics in Michigan seeks an experienced Automation / Robotics Technician to support automated manufacturing equipment and robotic systems in a plastics routing and trimming environment.
You will troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and optimize robotic systems, diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation issues, and collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to minimize downtime and drive improvements.
Qualifications
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair robotic and automated manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation-related issues.
- Troubleshoot robot faults, sensors, motors, controls, and associated equipment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair robotic and automated manufacturing equipment.
- Support robotic routing, trimming, and cutting processes for plastic components.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on automation equipment.
- Make adjustments to robotic equipment and programs to maintain quality and production requirements.
- Respond quickly to equipment downtime and identify root causes of recurring issues.
- Assist with equipment improvements and automation projects.
