Qualifications

• Experience as Automation Technician or similar hands-on role.
• Direct plastics routing / robotic routing experience required.
• Strong robotic troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
• Ability to diagnose sensors, motors, controls, pneumatics and other automation components.
• Able to troubleshoot equipment problems independently to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair robotic and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Support robotic routing, trimming, and cutting processes for plastic components.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on automation equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation-related equipment issues.
• Troubleshoot robot faults, sensors, motors, controls, and associated equipment.
• Make adjustments to robotic equipment and programs to maintain quality and production requirements.
• Respond quickly to equipment downtime and work to identify root causes of recurring issues.
• Assist with equipment improvements, modifications, installations, and automation projects.
• Work closely with production, maintenance, engineering, and operations teams.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following established safety procedures.
