Job summary

Custom Building Products is seeking a skilled Machine Technician to operate and maintain automated production equipment on our Lithia Springs, GA plant. This first shift role focuses on optimizing production throughput, equipment reliability, and product quality while minimizing downtime.

You will work with robotic systems and Noltec equipment, adjust machine settings, and help ensure daily schedules are met.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Experience with robotics or automated production equipment preferred.
Ability to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor robotic systems using teaching pendants safely and efficiently.
Work with automated systems, including Noltec equipment (training will be provided).
May include batch making duties.
Adjust machine settings, including product size and pallet configurations.
Place pallets on conveyors and initiate robotic operations.
Ensure accurate product weights and maintain neat, organized palletizing.
Monitor production processes to meet daily schedules and performance goals.
Troubleshoot basic equipment issues to minimize downtime.
Maintain a high level of quality, accuracy, and productivity.
Support team operations and contribute to continuous improvement efforts and goals.
