Job summary

The Electromechanical Technician at Becton, Dickinson and Company ensures reliable production equipment, performing preventive and corrective maintenance and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing lines in the USA.

You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, diagnose PLCs, maintain robotics and automation, and coach operators on safe, efficient operation while upholding quality standards and BD safety policies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical equivalent required.
• Experience with automated production equipment preferred.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with process improvements involving mechanical and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Diagnose and repair PLCs.
• Maintain robotic systems and automated equipment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain industrial networks and communications.
• Train operators on equipment operation, preventive maintenance, and safety.
• Update Quality System documentation as required.
• Support special projects and other business needs.
