Job summary

Link Snacks is seeking an Automation Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize robotic systems across our manufacturing operations. This role drives reliability, safety, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced food production environment.

You will work with ABB/FANUC/KUKA/Yaskawa robots, PLCs, HMIs, and vision sensors; perform preventive and corrective maintenance; support automation upgrades; and collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to keep lines

Qualifications

Associate degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Electrical Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
Experience with industrial robots such as ABB, FANUC, KUKA, or Yaskawa.
Knowledge of PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi) and HMIs.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read blueprints and control schematics.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and calibrate industrial robots, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and automation systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on robotic arms, conveyors, and control systems.
Modify robot pathways and machine parameters; support upgrades with engineering.
Ensure safety standards and maintain documentation and logs.
Collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to resolve issues.
