Job summary

Link Snacks is seeking an Automation Technician to install, maintain, and optimize robotic systems and automated manufacturing equipment. You will ensure equipment reliability, support continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to safe production operations.

Responsibilities include configuring robots, PLCs, HMIs, and sensors; performing preventive maintenance; diagnosing faults; and collaborating with engineering on upgrades.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Electrical Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with industrial robots (ABB, FANUC, KUKA, Yaskawa or similar).
• Knowledge of PLCs (AB, Siemens, Mitsubishi), HMIs, and industrial networks.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and calibrate industrial robots, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and automation systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on robotic arms, conveyors, vision systems, and control systems.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and restore systems with minimal downtime.
• Modify robot pathways, PLC logic, and machine parameters as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on automation upgrades.
