Job summary

Novae is seeking a Robotics Programming Manager to lead a team of Robotics Programmers and Technicians across welding, blast, and paint operations. You will drive automation strategies, program robots, and ensure seamless integration with the ERP system and product configurations.

The ideal candidate has a solid background in robotics automation within manufacturing, strong leadership, and excellent communication. This role reports to operations leadership and requires on-site work in Indiana.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering or equivalent demonstrated automation experience.
• Minimum 5 years of robotics programming and automation in manufacturing; at least 2 years in a supervisory/lead role.
• Experience with welding, blasting, or painting automation and strong knowledge of ERP integration.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Robotics Programmers and Robotic Process Technicians; set performance expectations and develop staff.
• Identify automation opportunities across welding, blasting, and painting; design and deploy robotic systems from concept to production.
• Manage simulation, validation, and programming using Roboguide and WeldPro; ensure ERP and product config systems integration.
