Qualifications
- Expert knowledge of robotic/mechatronic engineering and motion control.
- Hands-on assembly and robotics/automation systems experience.
- Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks) preferred.
- Experience with electronic control (PID, PLC) and industrial protocols.
Responsibilities
- Research projects: apply advanced engineering to automation and integration.
- Define components, products or processes for pathology lab applications.
- Create prototype hardware/software to meet goals and test hypotheses.
- Design, build and test prototypes; present results to diverse audiences.
- Work in cross-functional agile technical team on project planning.
