Tailored Management seeks a Robotics Automation Engineer in Tucson, AZ, to join a research and early development team focused on robotics, automation, motion control, machine vision, and physical AI. You will prototype, test, and integrate hardware and software solutions in a hands-on role.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with robotic and motion-control systems, and work within a cross-functional Agile research engineering team to advance pathology laboratory applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with robotics focus.
• Hands-on experience prototyping and integrating robotic systems.
• Knowledge of motion control, machine vision, and sensing.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop automated robotic systems for lab settings.
• Design, assemble, and test robotics prototypes and subsystems.
• Implement motion-control, calibration, and robot guidance.
• Apply machine vision for object detection and positioning.
• Collaborate in an Agile cross-functional research team.
