Job summary

NS BlueScope in Tacoma is looking for an Automation Engineer to manage the design and installation of new robotic and automation equipment. As part of the Maintenance and Engineering team, you will ensure the reliability of systems and lead in training and technology integration for efficiency.

With a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and relevant project experience, you will contribute to the continuous improvement and operational success of our automation processes.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in automation/robotics/mechatronics project work.
• Strong understanding of project implementation from feasibility to handover.
• Working knowledge of networking and integration technologies.

Responsibilities

• Direct design and installation of new automation equipment.
• Lead equipment maintenance and reliability activities.
• Train individuals in new systems operations.
