Job summary

The position emphasizes participation in research, design, testing, fabrication, and assembly of prototypes, with responsibility for technical direction on repairs and maintenance. Relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field with at least 4 years of experience in automation support, and engineering within a factory setting.
• Ability to solve moderately complex problems independently and provide guidance to team members when needed.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement robotic systems to automate repetitive human functions or dangerous tasks.
• Apply engineering and computer science principles to develop robotic mechanism components and systems.
• Support and participate in research, design, configuration, test, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototypes.
• Provide technical direction for system repair and maintenance.
