Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Robotics Automation Engineer to design, program, and deploy industrial robots and autonomous mobile robots across manufacturing, warehousing and logistics environments. You will integrate robots with end-effectors, safety systems, PLCs and ERP/MES/WMS workflows, using ROS/ROS 2, Python and C++ to deliver safe, scalable production solutions.

Travel up to 75% is required, with a compensation package aligned to market ranges.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of robotics automation experience.
  • Hands-on with at least one industrial robot or cobot.
  • Familiar with integration of robotics with automation equipment.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and troubleshoot hardware/software.

Responsibilities

  • Design, program, configure and deploy industrial robots and AMRs/AGVs.
  • Integrate robots with conveyors, safety systems, machine vision, PLCs and ERP/MES/WMS systems.
  • Develop robot programs and control logic using ROS, Python or C++.
  • Support safety assessments, tooling specs and layout validation.
  • Use digital twins and simulation for offline programming and validation.
  • Collaborate with OT teams and robotics ecosystem partners.
