Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Robotics Technical Architect to define architecture for robotics intelligence platforms, multi-robot orchestration, and fleet integration within its Physical AI portfolio. You will drive runtime services, lifecycle operations, and production deployment in collaboration with solution architects and client engineers.

The role requires strong ROS/ROS 2, Python and C++, plus hands-on experience in industrial automation, cloud/edge deployment, and security considerations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in robotics engineering, robotics software, autonomous systems, or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience architecting and deploying robotics systems in production environments.
• Strong proficiency in ROS/ROS 2, Python and C++ for robotics applications and platform integration.
• Hands-on experience with robotics intelligence capabilities such as perception, localization, SLAM, motion planning, and sensor fusion.
• Experience with fleet management, multi-robot coordination, orchestration platforms or distributed robotics systems.
• Experience integrating robotics with industrial systems and protocols (e.g., PLC/SCADA, MES, ERP).
• Understanding of cloud, edge and GPU deployment patterns, containers, APIs, and production operations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years; if associate degree, minimum 6 years).

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end robotics architecture for platforms, autonomous systems, fleets and services.
• Architect robotics intelligence platforms spanning perception, localization, SLAM and planning.
• Define patterns for robotics foundation models, synthetic data and simulation-based training.
• Architect multi-robot orchestration and fleet-management platforms and task allocation.
• Define orchestration services for resource scheduling, traffic management and monitoring.
• Design integration patterns across robot OEMs, ROS/ROS 2, PLC/SCADA and ERP.
• Define cloud/edge/GPU deployment patterns and security considerations.
• Establish observability, telemetry, diagnostics, and lifecycle-management patterns.
• Collaborate with digital-twin and simulation teams for validation approaches.
• Lead architecture reviews, risk management and governance; provide mentorship to teams.
• Support pre-sales with architecture proposals, estimates, and demonstrations.
• Build reusable reference architectures and accelerators for robotics services.
• Collaborate with NVIDIA, robotics OEMs, and cloud providers.
