Job summary

Boston Dynamics seeks an RMAC Applications Lead to head the Applications/Integration team at the Robotic Mobile Application Center. You will steer Atlas' transition toward production-ready automotive manufacturing and serve as the technical bridge between Atlas engineering and operations.

You will design data collection playbooks, oversee testing (OLT/FAT), and mentor engineers while coordinating with partners to keep the RMAC fleet mission-ready and scalable across sites.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5–7+ years in robotics operations, systems engineering, or field application engineering, with at least 2 years in a lead/supervisory capacity.
• Deep understanding of robotics systems, Linux (Ubuntu), networking telemetry, and RT code; proficient in Python/C++ or scripting; experience with JIRA/Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Applications/Integration Engineers to align with product strategy and customer needs.
• Develop data collection playbooks and oversee QA for large-scale data goals (10,000 hours).
• Act as mission lead for robot health, uptime, and hardware utilization; triage issues and coordinate with engineering.
• Develop site integration processes to deploy Atlas into automotive manufacturing environments.
