Job summary

Boston Dynamics is seeking an Applications/Integration Engineer for the Robotic Metaplant Application Center (RMAC) to transition the Atlas humanoid robot into production-level automotive manufacturing. You will manage Atlas fleets onsite, develop data-collection playbooks, and drive integration with HMGMA/Glovis facilities to enable scalable deployment.

You will triage hardware/software issues, analyze telemetry, and coordinate with global teams to optimize uptime, data quality, and process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in robotics, computer science, electrical engineering, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of professional experience in field application engineering, systems engineering, or robotics operations.
• Proficiency in Linux (Ubuntu) with command-line and networking telemetry; experience with JIRA and data-driven monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive transition of Atlas into production-level automotive manufacturing and design data collection tasks.
• Serve as the onsite Robot Captain, performing triage and coordinating with global teams to resolve issues.
• Develop playbooks and processes for site integration and pilot deployments; ensure robust system connectivity and data/workflow integration.
