Job summary

Boston Dynamics is seeking an Applications/Integration Engineer for the RMAC to drive Atlas deployment in automotive manufacturing. You will lead data collection, curriculum design, and playbook creation while acting as the onsite engineer for Atlas fleet health and performance.

Key duties include designing data collection scenarios, piloting coaching, and coordinating with hardware, software, and fleet teams to ensure reliable, scalable deployment across facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• 3–5+ years of professional experience in field application engineering, systems engineering, or robotics operations.
• Strong Linux (Ubuntu) proficiency and command-line skills.
• Experience with JIRA and data-driven monitoring tools like Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Design data collection tasks and playbooks for Atlas data generation and validation.
• Serve as the onsite engineer and fleet captain for Atlas hardware and software issues.
• Develop and maintain integration playbooks for deploying Atlas in automotive facilities.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure robust system connectivity and effective pilot deployment.
