Job summary

Sereact GmbH is seeking a Robotics Application Engineer to design, customize, and support the deployment of advanced robotic applications for real-world industrial needs. You will bridge our development team and end-users, adapting software and hardware for client use cases such as bin-picking and item manipulation, and ensuring reliable operation in dynamic environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in robotics application development or integration.
• Strong programming skills in Python and C++, with experience in task-level software development.
• Experience working with clients to implement and refine robotic solutions.
• Proficiency with ROS 2 and simulation tools like Gazebo or RViz.

Responsibilities

• Debug and resolve application-level issues, collaborating with hardware and software teams as needed.
• Adapt and optimize robotic systems for specific client applications, including path planning, perception, and object manipulation.
• Create and implement task-specific workflows, configurations, and behaviors for robotic systems.
• Develop user-friendly interfaces and tools to simplify system operation for end-users.
• Conduct onsite testing of robotic applications to validate performance and ensure reliability.
• Provide hands-on training to clients and operators.
• Document application workflows and create detailed user guides.
