Job summary

Spectrum Metalcraft is seeking an experienced and hands-on Department Leader – Robotic Welding to oversee daily robotic welding operations and provide technical support. You will lead, coach, and develop the team while ensuring safety, quality, productivity and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate combines strong robotic welding knowledge with people leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and is prepared to coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance and Quality to resolve issues

Qualifications

• Strong robotic welding knowledge and hands-on leadership in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Effective communication and coaching to develop employees.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and develop employees while monitoring productivity and safety.
• Promote high standards through personal example and leadership rounding.
• Monitor quality, identify welding deficiencies, and assist with corrective actions.
• Communicate goals and deliverables to the team and management.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality to resolve issues.
• Promote a clean, organized, and safe work environment and pursue continuous improvement.
