Qualifications

• Must read blueprints and interpret weld symbols.
• Baseline weld process understanding and quality standards.
• Able to perform basic programming adjustments and data entry for reporting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate robotic welding cells safely and efficiently.
• Load/unload parts, fixtures, and materials.
• Perform machine setup and changeovers for production runs.
• Monitor welding parameters and adjust within guidelines.
• Inspect welds for quality and conformance.
• Troubleshoot welding equipment and fixtures.
• Make minor robot program touch-ups as trained.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and keep equipment clean.
• Replace consumables and ensure gas supply.
• Document production and downtime accurately.
• Communicate equipment issues to supervision/maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and quality.
• Perform welding repairs or fabrication as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.
