Schuette Inc. is seeking a Robotic Welder in Rothschild, WI for full-time skilled labor on first and second shifts.

The role involves operating robotic welding machines, setting up fixtures, and reading blueprints to produce welded assemblies that meet specifications. The ideal candidate has a technical certificate or relevant training, the ability to adjust weld controls precisely, and the physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and work overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school, or 3–6 months related experience.
• Must be able to quickly and repeatedly adjust a robotic welder to exact positions.
• Lift up to 50 lbs, bend, squat, twist, and stand for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, or tend robotic welding machines to join components.
• Position, align, and bolt fixtures onto machines using measuring tools.
• Prepare metal surfaces with grinders, cutters or drills before welding.
• Read blueprints and perform welder set-up procedures and routine maintenance.
