Job summary

Lake Air Products in Little Chute, WI is seeking a Robotic Welder/Programmer for a full-time role. The position requires programming experience and strong welding knowledge, with a preference for FANUC robot experience.

You will set up fixtures, weld components, and ensure quality through testing and inspection. You will design fixtures, develop tooling, and oversee the welding process to meet specifications while minimizing rework.

Qualifications

• 1 year of programming experience is required.
• Extensive welding knowledge required.
• Experience with FANUC robots is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform measurements.
• Ability to weld in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.

Responsibilities

• Program and set up fixtures to hold metal components for welding.
• Participate in fixture design to enable productive welding.
• Develop templates or tooling to hold and align parts and install fixtures.
• Observe tests on welded surfaces to ensure weld quality and specs.
• Clamp, tack-weld, heat-bend, bolt, or grind parts as needed.
• Control fitting, burning, and welding to avoid overheating or distortion.
• Audit quality and rework missing welds after robotic processing.
