Job summary

Metalcraft of Mayville is seeking a skilled Robotic Welder to join our manufacturing team. You will operate robotic welding equipment to fabricate metal parts, perform welds, and adjust processes to maintain quality and throughput.

The role requires reading blueprints and welding symbols, understanding setup parameters, and executing basic MIG/TIG welding while maintaining safety and clean work areas.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Knowledge of welding setup parameters (amps, volts, wire).
• Basic shop math and measuring tools proficiency.
• Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate robotic welding equipment to produce metal parts and assemblies.
• Load components into fixtures manually or with hoists and material-handling equipment.
• Adjust welding parameters (wire feed, amperage, polarity, gas) as needed.
• Program and touch‑point adjust robotic welders and perform operational corrections.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
