Job summary

Dalton Ag in the heartland of America is seeking a Robot Welder responsible for setting up and operating welding robots to produce quality welds on steel products. You will run the robot weld cycle, read blueprints, and ensure safety, accuracy, and timeliness in the welding area.

Responsibilities include measuring and inspecting welds, loading material, troubleshooting malfunctions, and assisting with tool changes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; welding certificate preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating a robotic welder.
• Must pass basic MIG welding test.
• Basic math and reading blueprints required.
• Ability to read measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, protractors, tape measure).

Responsibilities

• Operate robotic welder; manage program sequencing and tooling setup.
• Inspect welds for quality and conformance to blueprints (weld symbols).
• Load/unload material; assist with tooling changes and machine setup.
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and minimize downtime.
• Maintain machines, perform routine cleaning, and ensure safety in welding area.
