Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. is looking for a Moto Operator to join our team. The position centers on operating the Moto Cell to weld bases and components for steel square tubes, loading shafts, and ensuring quality through the welding process.

You will weld with MIG, read blueprints, perform material checks, and maintain equipment. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long shifts, and completing required certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years welding experience.
• Read blueprints and use tape measure.
• Must pass welder level 3 assessment.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations for setup.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Moto Cell machinery to weld bases and components.
• Load steel shafts via conveyor and weld to specification.
• Monitor quality of incoming material and adjust as needed.
• Weld in flat and horizontal positions using MIG welding.
• Follow safety policies and operate PLC controlled equipment.
