Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. is seeking a Moto Operator for the Moto Cell, welding bases and components of steel square tubes. You will load shafts via conveyor, weld, inspect quality, and ensure AWS MIG qualifications are met. The role requires reading blueprints and basic PLC understanding.

Position is 3rd shift, Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. Compensation starts at $28.57/hour with a $2/hour shift differential. Benefits include healthcare, 401k, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years welding experience.
• Must be able to read blueprints and use a tape measure.
• Must pass welder level 3 assessment.
• Must be able to weld in flat and horizontal positions.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Moto Cell welding base and components to complete assemblies.
• Monitor incoming steel shafts and reject substandard material.
• Weld using MIG/GMAW processes and maintain quality standards.
• Maintain safety practices and wear required PPE.
