Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated seeks a skilled Robot Operator/Welder to support robotized welding lines in our Oklahoma City facility. The role involves operating 6-axis welding robots, following customer drawings and specs, and maintaining fixtures.

Candidates should read and follow instructions, work in a team, and be able to lift up to 35 lbs. Flexibility for overtime and ability to operate computers/software are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience preferred.
• Must be able to work well in a team environment.
• Read, write, and follow instructions; work independently with little guidance.
• Stand or walk for extended periods; lift up to 35 lbs.
• Operate computers and relevant software.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime.
• Other skills: communication, problem solving, organization, scheduling, analyzing information, dealing with complexity, deadline-oriented, time management, process improvement, safety management, inventory control, lifting, data entry.

Responsibilities

• Operate robots, perform welding and weld finishing per drawings/specs.
• Process job orders for MSA and bracket robot cells.
• Maintain fixtures and run prototype fixtures; generate maintenance work orders.
• Troubleshoot robot downtime and manage robot consumables inventory.
• Perform 6-axis welding robot programming and touch ups.
• Use fixtures for point-to-point and work object operations; operate CNC with material handling robot.
• Ensure production aligns to quality and engineering specs.
• Cross-train on semi-automatic transition robot cell; train new employees.
