Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Missouri is seeking an Operator to set up, adjust, and program robotic welding systems for multiple machines. You will perform quality tests and continuous inspection, ensure a clean work area, and work as part of a team to meet production goals.

The role requires certification as a Welder or equivalent, the ability to read drawings, use calipers and gauges, and navigate HMI interfaces to optimize the welding process.

Qualifications

  • Must be qualified and hold a Certified Welder position or equivalent, or be certified by a technical institute.
  • Must pass the AWS Certification Test per Company Welding Policy.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and routing sheets.
  • Must be able to satisfactorily use calipers, gauges, and other measuring devices.
  • Will perform SPC procedures and interpret findings to adjust the process.
  • Must navigate the HMI (Human-Machine Interface).

Responsibilities

  • Set up, adjust machines and equipment to produce an acceptable quality product.
  • Set up, operate, program and troubleshoot Robot Systems for welding processes to achieve productivity and quality.
  • Operate more than one type of machine.
  • Perform quality tests, certifications, and production checks as required by QA or supervisor.
  • Visually inspect product, record production, report scrap, and rework as assigned.
  • Make routine equipment adjustments to ensure efficient welding per company standards.
  • Manually repair or hand weld products below standard due to tolerance variables.
  • Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly.
  • Work as a team.
