Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is hiring for a welding operator role. The position involves setting up and adjusting welding equipment, programming and troubleshooting robot welding systems, and operating multiple machines to meet productivity and quality standards.

You will perform quality tests and production checks, record data, and report scrap while maintaining a clean work area and cooperating with team members to solve problems.

Qualifications

• Must hold a certified welder qualification (AWS or equivalent).
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and routing sheets.
• Proficient with calipers, gauges and measuring devices.
• Experience with SPC procedures and interpreting results.
• Capable of navigating HMI and controlling robotic systems.
• Proactive problem solving and teamwork orientation.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust machines and equipment to produce quality products.
• Program, operate and troubleshoot robot systems for welding processes.
• Operate multiple machine types and monitor productivity.
• Perform quality tests and production checks as required by QA.
• Record production, report scrap, and perform rework as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and comply with standards.
