Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience communicating with customers, technical, regulatory, business teams, and management to collect requirements, describe product features, and technical designs.
• Experience working effectively across cross‑functional teams and partnering with people at all levels.
• Experience translating customer needs into innovative product requirements for customer-facing online and mobile products/services.
• 5+ years in systems engineering, sensor development, or related technical roles.
• Strong understanding of sensor technologies (imaging, depth sensing, LiDAR, ToF, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary technical contact for internal and external customers, gathering use‑case requirements and translating them into technical specs.
• Partner with product management to define requirements, prioritize features, and shape the sensor roadmap.
• Contribute to sensor system architecture ensuring performance, cost, reliability, and integration across disciplines.
• Benchmark sensing technologies, analyze competition, and identify differentiation opportunities.
• Identify technical risks and mitigation strategies for customer applications, guiding engineering decisions.
• Collaborate across hardware, firmware, optical, mechanical, electrical, test, and manufacturing teams.
