Amazon Industrial Robotics is seeking a Sr. Applied Scientist in Robot Perception to push the boundaries of perception in real-world robotic systems.

You will design, implement, and deploy state-of-the-art perception algorithms, bridging computer vision, 3D sensing, and language-model concepts to enable safe human-robot collaboration. Qualifications

• PhD required in CS/EE/Robotics with strong research background.
• Experience delivering ML/perception systems to production.
• Strong publications or applied research track record.
• Proficient in Python and/or C++.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy perception algorithms for robotics systems.
• Lead research in computer vision, sensor fusion, and 3D perception.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to deliver capabilities.
• Oversee end-to-end ML model lifecycle from data to deployment.
