Amazon Robotics is looking for an Embedded Software Development Engineer to advance sensor and compute technology across our robotic systems. You will design, develop and validate embedded software, including camera drivers, and work with hardware, test, and operations teams to enable next‑gen sensors for fulfillment networks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 2+ years of design/architecture experience of systems.
• 3+ years of software development engineer experience.
• 1+ years designing multi‑threaded embedded or distributed software.
• 2+ years of Object Oriented Design.

Responsibilities

• Research emerging sensor technologies and evaluate applications.
• Partner with hardware, software, test and operations teams plus suppliers.
• Architect software design, define requirements, write specs and test plans.
• Design and develop embedded software including device and camera drivers.
• Advise teams on sensor stack design and integration.
• Support product release to manufacturing and deployment.
