Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking an experienced urologist to provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for urologic conditions in Pittsburgh, PA. The role includes performing major procedures with robotic assistance and developing subspecialties within urology.

In addition to clinical duties, you will contribute to AHN’s Urology Residency program and collaborate with a large team across AHN facilities. Competitive benefits and a sign-on package are offered.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Urology Residency Program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
• Eligible for unrestricted Pennsylvania medical licensure.
• DEA certification and ability to obtain AHN medical staff privileges.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical and surgical management of urologic conditions.
• Perform procedures including prostatectomy, cystectomy, bladder tumor resections, nephrectomy and urodynamic testing.
• Utilize advanced minimally invasive and robotic surgical technology.
• Develop or expand subspecialty interests in urologic oncology, stone disease, BPH, reconstructive urology, men's health, and female pelvic medicine.
• Involvement with AHN’s Urology Residency program.

Education
