Allegheny Health Network’s Forbes Hospital in Pittsburgh area seeks an experienced Urologist for a new practice. The role involves comprehensive medical and surgical care with emphasis on robotic techniques and a broad range of urologic procedures.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school is required.
• Completion of an accredited Urology Residency Program is required.
• Board Certification or eligibility in Urology is required.
• Unrestricted Pennsylvania medical licensure is required.
• DEA certification and hospital privileges eligibility are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical and surgical management of urologic conditions.
• Perform a broad range of procedures including prostatectomy, cystectomy, bladder tumor resections, nephrectomy, and urodynamic testing.
• Utilize advanced minimally invasive and robotic surgical technology.
• Develop or expand subspecialty interests in urologic oncology, stone disease, BPH, reconstructive urology, men's health, and female pelvic medicine.

Education

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

Completion of an accredited Urology Residency Program

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology

PA medical licensure (unrestricted)

DEA certification
