Job summary

The Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Surgery Institute in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a General Surgeon to join a broad-based practice that includes elective and acute care surgery. The role provides access to minimally invasive and robotic platforms and a collaborative team environment.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, participate in call coverage and quality initiatives, and have potential teaching opportunities with medical students and residents, with room to develop subspecialty

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with completion of a general surgery residency.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in General Surgery.
• Pennsylvania medical licensure in good standing prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide broad-based general surgery care including elective and acute cases.
• Participate in call coverage, quality initiatives, and teaching opportunities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.
