Job summary

Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Department of Urology at Forbes Hospital in Pittsburgh’s eastern suburbs is recruiting a full-time Urologist to join a new practice, supported by a strong referral network and immediate patient volume.

Collaborate with board-certified urologists, utilize DaVinci robotics, and develop subspecialty interests in oncology, stone disease, and reconstructive urology within AHN’s expansive network.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Urology Residency Program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
• Eligible for unrestricted Pennsylvania medical licensure.
• DEA certification and ability to obtain AHN medical staff privileges.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical and surgical management of urologic conditions.
• Perform a broad range of procedures, including prostatectomy, cystectomy, bladder tumor resections, nephrectomy, and urodynamic testing.
• Utilize advanced minimally invasive and robotic surgical technology.
• Develop or expand subspecialty interests in urologic oncology, stone disease, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), reconstructive urology, men's health, and female pelvic medicine.
