Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking an experienced urology surgeon to provide comprehensive medical and surgical management of urologic conditions, including complex oncologic and reconstructive procedures. The role involves performing minimally invasive and robotic surgeries and contributing to AHN’s renowned Urology Residency program.

The ideal candidate holds an MD or DO, completed an accredited Urology Residency, and is board-certified or board-eligible, with PA licensure eligibility and DEA

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Urology Residency Program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
• Eligible for unrestricted Pennsylvania medical licensure.
• DEA certification and ability to obtain AHN medical staff privileges.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical and surgical management of urologic conditions.
• Perform a broad range of procedures, including prostatectomy, cystectomy, bladder tumor resections, nephrectomy, and urodynamic testing.
• Utilize advanced minimally invasive and robotic surgical technology.
• Develop or expand subspecialty interests in urologic oncology, stone disease, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), reconstructive urology, men's health, and female pelvic medicine.
• Involvement with AHN’s Urology Residency program.
