Job summary
Divergent in Long Beach designs, manufactures, and assembles advanced systems for automotive, aerospace, and defense sectors. The Robotic Technician role ensures steady day-to-day operations across multiple automated cells, performs maintenance, and troubleshoots issues to maintain safety and efficiency.
You will collaborate with engineers, production leads, and other technicians to keep high-quality components moving through the shop floor while supporting material flow and process improvements.
Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent.
- 1–3 years operating industrial robots (Kuka/ABB/FANUC/Yaskawa).
- Strong robotics operation and basic automation troubleshooting.
- Mechanical and electrical assembly with diagnostic skills.
- Experience in automotive, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing.
- Effective communication and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor multiple automated cells including robotic assembly and inspection.
- Maintain part flow and assist with routine maintenance.
- Respond to issues in real time to ensure quality components.
- Collaborate with engineering, production leads, and technicians.
- Support shipping, receiving and shop logistics as needed.
