Job summary

Medtronic plc is seeking an Area Sales Director for the Texas region to lead regional commercial strategy and revenue growth in Hugo Robotic‑Assisted Surgery. You will manage a team of sales professionals, build executive relationships across hospitals, and collaborate with Marketing, Clinical, Finance, and Legal to drive adoption and value realization.

The role requires 50–75% travel within the territory, residence in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of healthcare capital sales experience, including 7+ years of people leadership.
• Experience leading complex healthcare capital equipment sales cycles and contract negotiations.
• Experience managing regional sales performance, forecasting, and pipeline execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional commercial strategy and execution to achieve revenue objectives.
• Direct, coach, and develop a team of Capital Sales Specialists.
• Build executive-level relationships with hospital admins and health system leaders.
• Drive opportunity management, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline performance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to advance opportunities and adoption.
