Job summary

Massachusetts General Hospital is expanding its robotic surgery program and seeks a qualified Physician Assistant to join as a full-time first assistant. The role focuses on multispecialty robotic procedures in thoracic, urology, gynecology, colorectal, and general surgery.

Qualifications

• 2 years of surgical OR experience preferred.
• 1 year robotic surgery experience preferred.
• Maintain 100 CME credits every two years.
• Massachusetts license to practice as a PA required.

Responsibilities

• Directly assisting in multispecialty robotic surgery as the first assistant.
• Manage adult and some pediatric surgical patients in the OR with faculty and staff.
• Support the operating room team; no floor/clinic responsibilities.
• Mentor residents, PAs, and students; participate in QA meetings.
